From the very first moment we began our journey with FRSH Scents, we wanted to be different. We didn’t just want to make great products, we wanted to have a positive impact. Our ambition was to create a brand and a product range that was not only great for our customers, but was also contributing to a greater good.
And so in 2018, just one year after FRSH Scents was born, we began our partnership with The Plastic Bank, creating the first plastic-neutral air freshener range. We aim to lead the industry on sustainability whilst maintaining high-quality details that enable our products to stand out. All whilst helping to turn the tide on plastic waste.

Being Plastic Neutral means that for every kilogram of plastic that a company uses, a measured equivalent of plastic waste is recovered and removed from the environment by an individual or company through recycling and waste management. It’s a relatively easy process to become Plastic Neutral too. It’s all about measuring the amount of plastic within a product line, reducing it any way possible, offsetting the remaining usage by removing the equivalent from the environment, then reusing and recycling as much as possible. Every step is pretty simple but has a huge impact.

It’s become such a throwaway part of our lives. It’s easy to buy, cheap to use and convenient to throw away. It’s estimated that there will in fact be more plastic in the ocean than fish by the year 2050! These figures are astounding, concerning and should not be ignored any longer.
Our sustainability commitments are threefold.
FSC Certified: The Forest Stewardship Council ® certification system allows the identification of paper and wood products which are responsibly sourced.
100% Recyclable: PET plastic can be recycled to make more PET plastic products. The product lifecycle is continuous and doesn’t lead to plastic waste.
Certified Plastic Neutral: Through our offset program with The Plastic Bank, FRSH Scents ® products are responsible for much more plastic being reclaimed and recycled than are used.
And it’s this partnership with The Plastic Bank that we see such huge potential and benefits for not only our business and The Plastic Bank itself, but those that are impacted by plastic waste the world over. We’re helping to establish ethical plastic collection branches within 50km of coastlines and waterways. Plastic is then collected from local beaches, riverbanks and neighbourhoods to stop the plastic at its source.
And whilst we are power of business to support recycling, The Plastic Bank is using the power of people to get it done.
The Plastic Bank is revealing value in plastic waste and improving lives.
